Day 5 (2/10/23)
I am not a meteorologist and neither is Ernie (even though he thinks he IS one) BUT, it looks like we are getting some weather today!
We are heading to see the Blue Angels museum! Now, ever since Jared moved to Pensacola several years ago (he is back in Pittsburgh now, however), that has been on our list of things to do! The problem is, when we are vacationing down here in the summer, we don't want to waste valuable beach, sand, and sun time (not to mention beer time)! So, today is the perfect opportunity!
This is all we got! When we got to the base, we discovered that you have to me military or ex-military to enter! What a bummer! Even though it said no cameras.......😁
Now what? Joe Patti's called our name! It is a gigantic fresh fish market that has been located in Pensacola for over 90 years and it was PACKED with people! Although, this picture doesn't begin to show the amount of people waiting in line for fresh fish and seafood! We grabbed some frozen corn and crab chowder, some spicy tuna dip, and Cajun crab dip for our dinner (it was delish, by the way)!
Now we have been JUST missing the rain today, HOWEVER, it found us and it is very chilly too (56ish degrees)! SO, playing 5 Crowns!
Anyway, that is about it for today, not much else going on! Hopefully, the weather will be better tomorrow (I was going to say a prayer that the rain quits for tomorrow, but Ernie says God has more important things to do, than worry about whether or not it rains on my vacation)! Maybe I will throw a quick one out there to the Big Guy anyway!
Night! 😘
