Spent the day recuperating from our Bright Angel Trail hike........
Laundry, showers, shopping for souvenirs, etc.
Took the Hermit's Rest shuttle to all the points we missed earlier in the week!
First up, Trailhead Overlook, where we saw the trail we actually hiked the day before and it tired me out all over again! I tried highlighting the trails, but the car is too bumpy! I think you can kind of see the different parts of the trail, though if you look closely!
The Abyss (largest drop at 3,000 feet!
Pima Point
Pima Point offered a great view ofthe Colorado!
A nice lady said this would make a good photo and offered to take one for us! I think it is a good one!
Hermit's Rest (end of the line for the shuttle)!
A good place to use the bathroom and also enjoy a good cup of hot chocolate and a fresh homeade cookie!
Back at camp, Ernie made a nice dinner, we played a game of Gin, then headed back out again to see our last sunset (it wasn't the best sunset we have seen, but it was still amazing)!
