Day 3 (2/8/23)
Good Morning..........
Up early (4:47am to be exact) My work hours are 7am - 1pm and there is a one hour time difference SO up early to clean up, eat some breakfast and log in for 6am (which is actually 7am in Pittsburgh)
ONTO FLORIDA!!!!!!
Quick detour in Wetumpka, AL! If any of you watch HGTV, Ben and Erin Napier of Hometown, did a make over of Wetumpka, AL.....it looks just like it did on TV!
VERY cool for an HGTV nerd like me!
Made it to Florida around 3pm! We decided to spring for a campsite for a few days and booked a site at Fort Pickens campground! It is located at the end of Pensacola Beach (our favorite place on earth, which we discovered when our son Jared lived here several years ago). The water is clear and blue and the beach is pristine white! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Anyway, I could go on and on about the beauty of Pensacola Beach, our campsite.....
Missed this place, the site, the smell.....aaaahhhh!
Made some dinner, got a shower (if you can call this a shower)! We have a "shower" in the camper, but so far I absolutely refuse, refuse to get one in there! SO, this little stream of water at the campground facility worked just fine! And it was HOT!
